Limbo

It has been a while since we have posted an update to let you know how we are getting on with our journey to Malvern.

Although we have been busy with further planning for the garden it does not seem like there have been specific large milestones to shout about.

We have been making phone calls to check on our CWR planting progression, have discussed dates for collecting our benches from Chris Nangle, been hearing about the growth of our Seeded Concrete from William Lee, and our bespoke concrete tiles from Mortise Concrete will be getting cast this week! We have also been talking to Paul, Three Counties Showground site manager, to arrange the removal of turf from our plot and to pre-book our time slots with the digger. We have even received a draft of Bosworth’s plan for their first few days on site!

When looking back though we can see how much we have done, and why we now feel like we are in limbo. We are definitely at the waiting patiently stage. The period of frantic commissioning and planning all aspects in the garden has passed and we now waiting for all the elements to come together before we start the build in just over a month!

Both of us are excited to see the outcome of our hard work after the stress and pressure of putting it all together.

All the projects I’ve ever been involved in have this stop and go profile. One minute there’s not enough hours in the day and the next you’re sitting around twiddling your thumbs. Enjoy the down time as it won’t last long.
